About Our Fair
The UMKC Community Health and Wellness Fair is a fun, family-friendly event focused on promoting a healthy lifestyle in simple ways! Hosted by the health science students at UMKC, this event offers blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar measurements, immunizations for adults and kids, sports physicals (by appointment), games, and face painting for kids! Doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, and their students will be there to answer all your questions! Join us for a fun day and the chance to win free prizes!

"Our goal from the very beginning of our project is to empower the residents of Jackson County in expanding their own health literacy by offering free health services and resources that may otherwise be difficult to obtain."
Our event functions as a way to help bridge the gap between all patients, especially the underserved, and their access to healthcare.
