The volunteers of the UMKC Community Health and Wellness Project are University of Missouri-Kansas City Hospital Hill students dedicated to the health of their neighbors. We are a student-led organization that spans across all disciplines on Hospital Hill including medical, dental, pharmacy and physician assistant students, which allows us to create a multidisciplinary approach to helping our community. In 2022, at the first annual UMKC Community Health and Wellness Fair, we delivered vital health services to over 100 Kansas City residents, including, but not limited to, sports physicals, blood pressure measurements, diabetes screenings, dental cleanings, lipid panels, and mental health resources. This year, we are holding the fourth annual event on July 18th, 2026 at the Kansas City Linwood YMCA from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
